During my Artist in Residency at Kultur Kontakt in Vienna, I focused my project on the dualism of the Greek Myth. The dual transformation in Medusa's head, lead us to explore her territory that belongs to the frontier between life and death, inside and outside, horror and beauty. Her blood is booth, one part is poisonous, while the other is said to have a healing effect. Medusas head  a mirror and a mask.  The image of beauty and horror on her face represent death for those who look at it. We could say she is the projection of our unconscious and in order to avoid petrifaction we have to use the mirror to confront the fears of our own mortality.
